Large Format Print and Production Operative

We are currently looking for a hardworking enthusiastic large format print operator to join our busy team to run our large format devices
The successful candidate will need to be open to learning new processes as the company grows and expands
2 years experience preferred in this sector

The Job

Producing quality work consistently by Following the job order details.

Imposing artwork using Roland RIP software.

Checking and maintaining the quality of the finished prints.

Cleaning and maintaining the machines

  • Operating roll to roll printers
  • Laminating
  • Vinyl Cutting
  • Mounting and laying up of vinyl’s to various substrates
  • Vinyl application
  • Banner Making
  • Print finishing


Previous experience with Roland or comparable solvent and UV printers
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage your own workload
The ability to work as part of a team and willingness to help out where necessary
A positive “can do” attitude is essential for any candidate
Work well under pressure ensuring deadlines are met

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per year depending on experience


  • 37.5hrs per week
  • Full time – Permanent
  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
  • Flexibility for overtime when required @ time and a half


  • Experience with operating large format printers.
  • Experience with large format finishing.
  • Fitting experience would be advantageous
  • Understanding of materials & finishing

Apprentice Printer and Print Finisher

 QuickPrint are expanding!


This course will give you a solid print foundation in both Lithographic and /digital printing as well as post print finishing

  • Be able to prepare a machine for running, shut it down properly after running, and maintain long-term working effectiveness
  • Knowledge of the properties and structures of materials and chemicals
  • Quality control expectations and techniques
  • Safe handling of materials and chemicals
  • Deal with a wide range of different printing operations such as managing colour, handling inks/toners, cleaning and maintenance, or operating different types of printing press
  • Work to tight deadlines in a calm and professional manner
  • Ensure that customer specification and company quality standards are met
  • Knowledge of the employer’s printing machinery, including a detailed understanding of the full operating capabilities and limitations of the specific press type and printing process
  • Production processes including the cause and effect of pre-press issues on print and print issues on post-press

Level 2 Print Operative Standard is a 24-month programme

One day per week off site training to be completed during the working week, Combining remote and face to face sessions (which would take place on site). A visit would be arranged with the learner every 4 weeks, with the apprentice given tasks, research and assignments to complete between visits.

The role includes:

Print Finishing, Digital and Litho Printing, Operating Print and finishing related Equipment.

You will be given an overall knowledge of the print industry with the potential to develop.

You will learn a trade which includes operating various digital printing presses and other trade equipment and be a valued member of our team.

The successful candidates will be versatile, practical, have excellent attention to detail, able to work well under pressure and have a good sense of humour!

Your qualification will be provided by the British Industries Printing Federation (BPIF) and involves on the job learning, along with training sessions throughout your journey.

As well as demonstrating the ability to work well on your own, you will be willing to contribute to the team effort to get the job done and will be flexible.

You will need:

Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above are required.

37.5 hours per week
9am – 5pm with 30mins lunch break

Copy Centre & Office Junior

We are looking to recruit a COPY CENTRE & OFFICE JUNIOR with opportunities to train in Marketing and Design.
Must have good maths, English and grammar + be confident talking costs.
Possibly from retail or similar customer-facing background, looking for a new challenge – and loves giving great customer service!
