QUICKPRINT History

QuickPrint Service has its roots in 1961 with Gerald and Maureen Frayne at the helm. Danny and Ann Frayne moved it to its present premises in Sweetbrier Lane, Heavitree. As the client base grew, the first real member of staff started, a lithographic printer. A few years later there was a workforce of five.

Richard Frayne became the first of three to successfully complete a 3-year apprenticeship course at Plymouth Art College for Print as a lithographic printer and more recently has moved into the position of Production Director.

Rebecca Frayne join the business in accounts after gaining a 1st at Cardiff University in leisure tourism and business management.

This millennium the floor space was doubled to accommodate newer and larger digital machinery.

QuickPrint enjoyed our '50 years in business celebration' when we ran several special offers for our customers and staff took part in the Exeter half marathon and commando challenge raising money for local charities.

More recently the digital machinery saw a refresh with a new Xerox Versant 2100 - a large digital press which prints superb quality at high speed, other additions include a large format 8 colour printer and a promotional item printer, alongside various finishing equipment.

All of our machinery allows us to continue to ensure deadlines are kept over larger numbers of large and small run orders.
